The Skillman online interview with Claudio Galli, Director Human Resources Europe, Middle East, and Africa, Kohler, and Rossella Brindani, International Departments Manager at Cis business training school, was recently carried out and published on the Skillman official Youtube account.
The interview tackled a number of topics related to skills development, green and digital transformation, micro-learning approaches in teaching and learning, and innovation and sustainable economies.
The two experts commented on the EU Pact for Skills initiative, sharing their experience on how they support to guarantee a fair and resilient recovery and deliver green and digital transitions.
In addition, they elaborated on micro-credentials, commenting that they offer more flexible and modular learning opportunities. Having a European approach will help widen learning opportunities and strengthen the role of higher education and vocational education and training institutions in lifelong learning.
Finally, they mentioned how Centers of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) are a key initiative of European Vocational Education and Training (VET) policies that will contribute to empower young people and adults with skills for fulfilling careers, that meet the needs of an innovative, competitive, fair, and sustainable economy.
