TVET ALLIANCE SUMMIT 2022

Promoted by the Skillman Alliance

SIF 2021 created relevant knowledge with the contribution of international high-level experts. Participants shared their understanding and visions for the future of education and contributed with ideas for redefining approaches to learning and equipping them with a new attention to values.
 The 2021 debate highlighted ideas and proposals for the future of education under the following main themes: DIGITAL AND GREEN REVOLUTION – MICRO-CREDENTIALS – SHARING IS CARING.

The ongoing attack on Ukraine forces the SIF community to adapt to the war scenario and calls for discussing new challenges related to building and maintaining peace. This year’s debate will therefore focus on the role of education as a cornerstone of peace and revive the already consolidated attention of SIF participants to ethical values in education.
I n addition, this year’s debate will explore how the development of a digital mindset can become an engine to take technical and vocational education for peace to the next level.

For all these reasons, it is our great pleasure to invite relevant stakeholders to TVET-ALLIANCE SUMMIT - 2022.

The event is organised by the members of TVET-ALLIANCE in partnership with the European Training Foundation and with the operational efforts of some specific members such as: IVETA, AER, ENNI, Skillman and EAPRIL.    

Twenty-four members will meet in Florence, Italy, on 5-6 April 2021 to finalise the outcomes of SIF 2021 and to set the vision of the Alliance on which SIF 2022 will be based. 

Participants will take the first results of the Alliance's efforts and discuss their further upgrading to make the Alliance stronger!

A statement will also be drafted to help shape the future of TVET as a responsive sector, able to react to megatrends, even anticipate them, and create an inclusive system for all that leaves no one behind.

The Summit will take place in the fascinating surroundings of Florence.

The Summit is a part of a long journey where the participants work together to achieve common goals aiming at improving education and TVET.

The participants share a strong commitment in co-shaping an inclusive, resilient and sustainable society, where TVET represents a pillar for innovation in curricula development and designing the “society of tomorrow”.

The event is free of charge for members who play an active and relevant role in the field. The organisation will cover all costs for accommodation and flight tickets for participants from EU countries only.

To submit your participation request, please follow the website SUBSCRIPTION LINK. In case of approval, you will be contacted by the travel agency to provide you with the travel and accommodation service.
